Founder & Executive Director

For more than 25 years, Tawnya Scott has dedicated her life to serving military members, veterans, first responders, and their families through advocacy, crisis intervention, healthcare, and compassionate leadership.  

As the Founder and Executive Director of Together For The Good Inc., she has built an organization rooted in the belief that no hero should have to navigate life's most difficult moments alone.

Drawing from her experience as a VA nurse, contract nurse, Crisis Intervention Specialist, military spouse, and longtime advocate, Tawnya has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by those who serve. Those experiences inspired her to establish Together For The Good Inc. in 2017, creating a place where individuals and families can find hope, healing, and lasting support.

Under her leadership, the organization has assisted hundreds of veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and families through crisis response, resource navigation, emergency assistance, mental health advocacy, and community partnerships.  

Her long-term vision is the development of the Southwest Michigan Healing & Resiliency Campus—a first-of-its-kind healing community designed to provide comprehensive, wraparound care in one peaceful location.

Tawnya leads with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to preserving the dignity of every individual served. Guided by her Christian faith and a deep belief in the power of community, she remains devoted to building a legacy of hope where healing is possible, lives are restored, and no one has to face their journey alone.

Craig Wojcik 

Vice President of Operations 

Craig Wojcik serves as Chief Operating Officer of Together For The Good Inc., bringing decades of executive leadership, operational excellence, and strategic planning experience to the organization. His passion for building strong teams, developing sustainable systems, and fostering organizational growth plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Together For The Good.

Prior to joining Together For The Good, Craig held executive leadership positions with one of the world's most recognized organizations, where he gained extensive experience in operations management, organizational development, customer experience, and leadership. His ability to transform complex ideas into efficient, mission-driven operations provides invaluable guidance as the organization continues to expand its national impact.

As Chief Operating Officer, Craig works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to strengthen organizational infrastructure, oversee strategic initiatives, and help guide the long-term development of the Southwest Michigan Healing & Resiliency Campus. His commitment to excellence ensures that every aspect of the organization remains focused on serving military members, veterans, first responders, and their families with integrity, compassion, and accountability.

Craig believes that exceptional leadership is rooted in service, collaboration, and creating lasting systems that empower organizations to fulfill their mission for generations to come.

Brooke J. Ford
Board of Directors

Brooke J. Ford is an Army Combat Veteran and accomplished business development executive with a lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and supporting those who have dedicated their lives to serving others. His military career, combined with extensive experience in strategic leadership and organizational development, brings valuable insight to the mission of Together For The Good Inc.

Throughout his military service, Brooke served in a variety of leadership roles, including assignments with the 101st Airborne Division, 4th Infantry Division, 40th Infantry Division, and the 19th Special Forces Group. These experiences strengthened his ability to lead under pressure, build resilient teams, and develop solutions to complex challenges while maintaining an unwavering commitment to those he served alongside.

As a member of the Together For The Good Inc. Board of Directors, Brooke provides strategic guidance that supports the organization's continued growth and long-term vision. His passion for serving veterans, military families, first responders, and their communities reflects his belief that no one who has sacrificed in service to others should face life's challenges alone.

Brooke is committed to helping Together For The Good build a future where hope, healing, and opportunity are accessible to every individual and family the organization serves.

Dr. Ameena Ali
Board of Directors

Dr. Ameena Ali is a dedicated Army Combat Veteran, humanitarian leader, and advocate committed to advancing the well-being of underserved communities. As the Founder and Executive Director of the Federation of International Gender and Human Rights (FIGHR), she has devoted her career to promoting equity, access to care, and opportunities for individuals and families facing complex challenges.

With extensive experience in community leadership, advocacy, and trauma-informed support, Dr. Ali has worked to empower individuals through education, outreach, and strategic initiatives that strengthen resilience and improve quality of life.

 Her unique combination of military service and humanitarian work provides valuable insight into the needs of veterans, first responders, and their families.

As a member of the Together For The Good Inc. Board of Directors, Dr. Ali brings a compassionate, mission-focused perspective that helps guide the organization's commitment to healing, hope, and long-term recovery. Her dedication to service, collaboration, and community impact continues to strengthen the organization's ability to support those who have sacrificed in service to others.

Dr. Ali believes that lasting change begins with compassion, dignity, and a commitment to ensuring every individual has access to the resources and support needed to thrive.

Hailey Kirk 

Board of Directors 

Hailey Kirk serves on the Board of Directors for Together For The Good Inc., where she provides leadership in organizational marketing, strategic development, and community engagement. Her professional experience, combined with a genuine passion for serving others, helps strengthen the organization's ability to connect with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

With a background in investigations, organizational support, and public engagement, Hailey brings a thoughtful approach to communication, outreach, and long-term organizational growth. 

She is committed to ensuring that Together For The Good continues to build meaningful relationships, increase community awareness, and expand its impact through purposeful planning and innovative strategies.

Hailey's dedication to the mission is deeply personal. 

Following the loss of her brother, Sergeant Joseph Anderson, whose military service was impacted by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), she became passionate about advocating for military families and raising awareness of the lasting effects of invisible wounds. Her experience has strengthened her commitment to ensuring that no service member or family walks their healing journey alone.

As a member of the Board of Directors, Hailey combines compassion, creativity, and purpose-driven leadership to help advance Together For The Good's mission of restoring hope, healing, and resilience to those who have sacrificed in service to others.

James Bowie
Treasurer | Board of Directors

James Bowie serves as Treasurer for Together For The Good Inc., where he provides financial leadership, strategic oversight, and a steadfast commitment to responsible stewardship. His dedication to accountability and transparency helps ensure the organization remains financially strong while advancing its mission of serving military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

With a strong background in financial management and organizational oversight, James brings thoughtful decision-making and sound fiscal guidance to the Board of Directors. His attention to detail and commitment to integrity support the responsible management of donor contributions, grant funding, and organizational resources, helping Together For The Good continue to grow with confidence and sustainability.

As Treasurer, James works collaboratively with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to strengthen the organization's long-term financial health while ensuring every decision aligns with its mission and values. His leadership helps build trust among donors, community partners, and those the organization serves.

James believes that financial stewardship is more than managing numbers—it's honoring the trust placed in the organization and ensuring every resource is used to create meaningful, lasting impact for those who have sacrificed in service to others.

Tellious Scott Sr. serves as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director for Together For The Good Inc., providing operational support, data analysis, and organizational coordination that helps advance the organization's mission. 

His commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and dependable leadership play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the nonprofit.

Working alongside the Executive Director, Tellious assists with organizational planning, data management, research, and administrative operations that strengthen strategic decision-making and organizational effectiveness. 

His analytical mindset and ability to manage complex information help ensure Together For The Good continues to grow with efficiency, accountability, and purpose.

Known for his steady leadership and willingness to serve wherever needed, Tellious is dedicated to supporting initiatives that improve the lives of military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. 

His behind-the-scenes contributions help create the strong operational foundation necessary for the organization to expand its programs and continue delivering compassionate, high-quality support to those it serves.

Tellious believes that meaningful impact is built through teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to serving others with humility, professionalism, and excellence.
